Read MoreThis course had so much more than how to be a successful health coach, it overlaps into problem-solving skills for both yourself and your nearest and dearest. This course has seen more clients and family reach their goals successfully as I now partner with them in uncovering what they truly desire not some predestined idea of what I believe health is.

Read MoreI signed up to do this practicum purely for registration purposes having already completed health coach training with another school. I learnt so much and feel that the knowledge gained from this practicum has really improved my work with clients, I have seen improvements in their successes also. I now truly listen to hear what clients are saying, and not with feeling like I need to 'fix' them to be a successful health coach. Michelle's knowledge, wisdom and vast experience with non diet approaches in health care really shone through and I've finished the practicum armed with some amazing skills to benefit myself and my clients. Thank you!

Although many nutrition and dietetics programs are very thorough in terms of either basic or clinical nutrition, they often don't specifically address the most current aspects of nutrition, are not holistic AND evidence-based, and most are lacking in 'Carbohydrate Appropriate' diet concepts like ketogenic diets, low-carbohydrate, and high-fat and high-protein nutrition. They also may lack in providing the 'real world' skills to actually be effective in practice.
In addition, you can choose to work as a Health Coach or Sports Nutritionist depending on which track you choose.
